any one know where the electric seat memory module is installed on both an e34 5 series and an e32 7 series? help useful otherwise I will have to pull everything up going down the wiring. thanks for help

The memory seat module is located under the driver's seat. If you look at the front of the seat you will see a black plastic panel. Remove this panel and you will see the module behind it. It has a number of colour coded connectors going into it. Unfortunately, if you want to remove the module you are going to have to remove the seat as there are two screws holding it place and they are located on the underside of the metal plate below the module.

If anybody knows a way of removing the module without taking out the seat please let me know.

I've taken mine out a number of time now trying to get the seat to work, the only hard part is getting the seat off from and on to the front hooks.
