Confidence-boosting, and fan-pleasing via easy pwnage is why Jawja paid them over half a mil to come to town and get whupped. Not hatin' or anything, but really, what do you expect? Not a whole lotta suspense to be had in these season openers.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Shockley when the real stuff gets crunk up in the coming weeks, though.

Boise State was no cupcake. It was the only matchup between two top-25 teams the first week.
Just a poor showing by their quarterback. I think the heat played a role as well. Georgia in early September is slightly more warm than Idaho.

Boise was ranked what? 18th? That's not a cupcake team.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me that alot of our points were scored off of the other Boise's mistakes. Last year we had a really hard time finishing off oppurtunities we had. Against Boise we showed that we can actually intercept the ball and finish it off with a TD.

I think we will have a really strong offense this year thanks to a QB that can pass AND rush.

Despite some haters out there, I think we are going to be a really strong team this year. SEC champs......maybe more? :devillook .....Boise or not....

Wish I wouldn't have missed the game, but the Jack Johnson concert more than made up for it. GO DAWGS.

I'm not the biggest UGA fan but even I'll admit they've got a pretty good team this year. Also I agree Shockley does have the rushing advantage over Greene, but I haven't really seen enough of him to give him too much credit. All I know is that this will be a sad year in college football for me, being an auburn fan. I knew we really wouldn't be great this year, but seeing the season opening loss to Tech was depressing.

Tell me about it. It really just ruined the season, and it just began.
