View Full Version : Who's going to Petit? dos Santos 09-03-2005, 02:32 PM Petit Le Mans. October 1. No tech or UGA games then. Who's going? I have the LSAT in the morning, and dont know if i'm going to go to work in the afternoon. Is anybody planning on going out there? 2K5 325i 09-03-2005, 06:46 PM i went last year and it was awesome. I'm interested in goin. DanH 09-03-2005, 11:42 PM My friends and I always get a huge group to go and usually have a spot at the top of the bleachers by the S turns at the end of the back straight. We should have a big group this year too. Perhaps we can put a meeting spot out there, I think our group will be set up with plenty of beer for all that want to come. Some of our friends will be helping out with the porsche teams in the pits. We usually fly the Ferrari and Porsche flags, but this year, Bimmer will be flying as well. Cant wait to see Porsches new LMP1 car. John 540i6 09-07-2005, 04:17 PM i will be there every day. We rented a huge bus/RV that needs someone with a class A to drive. Ours will be the one flying a big BMW flag! We always get a spot on the skidpad between turn 6 and 7. Oh, i hate to be the bearer of bad news but the new porsche LMP car is NOT going to be running. Apparently its not tested/safe enough yet for a 10 hour race. I'm so upset, because it would have been the only time I would ever get to the the audi r8 race against the porsche. The Porsche will definitely not be making the Petit LeMans. :( I'll be there however....there is a sweet Audi corral being fixed up. I'll contact the head honcho and ask if he has room for the bf.c/georgia guys. |
