I love the TP's perfectly matched display. I would be lying if I said the nav was not useful

but...

I find the sound quality to be marginal. The sq really takes a dump when I hook up the XM commander or my ipod through the aux in.

I would like to find a hu with integrated sat radio, and possibly the integrated ipod connectivity. I have had great sound with Alpines in the past, especially utilizing their time correction features. I am thinking about 9855, but have heard mixed reviews. I do not want anything overly flashy. Any other ideas, or are there suggestions on getting better sound out of the TP?

9835 and buy a garmin

I run the HK TP in my car. It feeds 2 Zapco amps with their Symblink cabling. I am very happy with the sound quality of this head, love the features and the lack of flashiness. I havent tried the AUX in to have any comment on it..... :(

If you are running it through the oem amp to the oem speakers then I can definitly see where you may not be satisfied with the performance. :confused

for the moment it is through the OEM speaker and amp, but I am judging it on the sound quality when I was feeding some nice comps with decent quality amps - not Zapco, but pretty nice quality.
