Does anyone know how good the E90 Logic7 sound system is. Is it worth the $1200 or should I just go with what they have stock.

I don t think Logic7 is $1200.00 better than the stock stereo. I have the stock one and it sounds great to me....but then again i m no audiophile

I have not listened to the stock system but I can tell you that the Logic7 system sounds pretty darn good!

In fact, it sounds WAY better than the DSP "premium" stereo in my 2003 540i. The Logic7 in the E90 is much clearer, plays louder, and has much better bass than my car.

I dont know if it is worth $1200 over the standard or not but it is a fine stereo.

yeah....ive heard the new harmon/kardon Logic7 in the 5 series and the e90 and it really is amazing....tons better than my base e46 stereo and i would be willing to say its clearer and bassier than the bose system in my moms car.......and if you get the iDrive with the logic7, you can adjust about 20 different sound stage settings and ajustments..its bad ass...in my opinion, i would definitly splurge and get the upgraded system (i hate myself i didnt do so on my 01 330i), but its not nearly as important to get as the sports package, but if youre somewhat of an audiophile, and dont wont to mess with doin aftermarket stuff go for it

i have the stock stereo system on my 320d. it is horrible. i am pretty peculiar about it, but by comparison what i used to have on my 2001 jetta would be like being frong row at a u2 concert.

at times i wonder if the subwoofer enclosings underneath the seats are empty.

the stock radio in the e90 is way better than my HK system in my M3
