is the ai-net cable only allowed to go in one dirction much like other audio cables? right now i have mine backward on purpose cause i thought it would fit better in the dash. im getting carppy quailty right now also but i think that is due to using an ebay cable. i got a new monster one yet to hook up, the instructions say the 90 degree bend is to connect to the HU.

So will hooking up my new cable the instructed way help alot? Any experiences hooking up AI-Net cables?

I dont think it is. Are you using a DSP? Maybe it's the Amp tuning?
