Just wondering what you guyz thought of this color. I ordered my car in this and it will be produced shortly so I still have time to change before it goes into production.

If you look closely, it's not really black, but a very dark blue instead, like dark midnight blue, and from what I here, it looks very aggressive at night.

Carbon Black is the nicest color it comes in IMO.

Absolutely gorgeous color. I don't think the interior combo is that bad, but it would probably be better with black interior.

Its either Black or Silver for Me- maybe Red but thats to bright for the cops to see and insurance to rack up

Cosmos Black is sweet - but Steel Gray would be my choice!

IMO, that's a very nice color for the new M3. Makes the car look mean :)

Carbon Black is the best E46 color - in pictures at least. I'm curous to see how the blue shows through in person.

Carbon Black looks too bluish and purplish at some angles. I don't like it for this reason, but that's just personal preference. I would go jet black.

Especially at night......it's one of the most versatile color choices.....and should have a high resale value.

this is the color I am getting when my spot comes up, probably with black leather interior, unless they will have Kiwi available. I love CB, very nice.

are you going to the auto show ?

That M3 in CB is the sh!t. Gorgeous.
Why put that old-lady interior in it though?
C'mon burled wood? Some aluminium trim would look fantastic on a fantastic car!

The 'heat-seeking' black is nice, but I'm partial to the Orient Blue myself. Either one is fine. (Figures Black Majik would choose Black :-) )

The CB looks very very nice...

Although, for me, it's a tossup between Imola red w/ cinammon or silver w/cinammon interior. Although, that pic of the black sure is beautiful.

The above pic is what made me decide on getting the cinammon interior...now would it look better in IR or TS?

Unfortunately, I don't believe we can get that wood trim yet in the U.S. It compliments the cinammon interior sooooo well. Hopefully in 2002?

I don't think that I personnally would like it on IR... maybe TS..

I'm not gonna go by that picture though... before I would order it, I would check with the dealer to see a sample...

it does look sweet though..
