Sounds weird...Porsche has plenty of resources for developing and building a race car in the amount of time they have spent on the project.

That sucks...I was really looking forward to seeing it debut. :(

something must be wrong with the engineering of the motor for them to publicly admit that they have "stamina" problems. To me that means, yeah we totally tweaked out the motor and every 600 miles we fry a piston or melt valves. We're not ready to display our $1 million grenade to the world yet.

Dailysportscar reports that they are having electrical and diff issues.

"By now, our RS Spyder has the speed, but not the stamina..."

But it's not a big deal, and Le Mans still loves you. This sort of thing happens to a lot of motorsport divisions. Maybe you should try thinking about baseball.

This is seriously disappointing. I was really looking foward to seeing Porsche back in the fray.

at least it's just "simple" problems and not, "we have the power but we can't keep the damn car from taking off and flipping at 130mph" :stickoutt haha.

If your car is taking off and flipping at 130mph, you need a new car.
If your car is taking off and flipping at 130mph due to massive downforce in the back (and no downforce in the front to help), you need to drop the ricer lifestyle.

hey I'd rather they delay the car until its ready rather than watch it retire after an hour.

As well as the flying Porsche GT-1 and BMW LMR at Road Atlanta during the same time period.

Yeah that one was spectacular, coming from under the Porsche bridge, nose lifts up and smash!
