Can you guys direct me to some places where i might find this tranny? I got a 80 323i and its got the 4-speed. I'd love to get the dogleg for it

I have one :D but not for sale. Good luck finding one as they are pretty rare. I have a 5 speed in my donor 323i not dog legged but it won't be out and for sale for a long while.

Hard to find tranny. I've been looking for one for about 2 years, when I did find one I got outbid and the price was $600. I found another one through a salvage yard but they wanted $500 ad they had no idea of the condition or milage, and the oil was pink :confused

They pop up on ebay.de every so often for about $500, plus another $200 for shipping. But if I find one I wont be letting anyone else know till its in my hands :)

Classifieds on forums are most likely your best source.

There is a guy in NH that has a ton of BMWS and I bet he has one..

I can get his name and number if you want...let me know
