Hello!
I am about to buy a 1992 735 iL with 175,000 miles. Is there anything in particular i should look for? Car seems to be well cared for and in overall good condition.
thanks

Major mechanicals are very durable in the E32.
The most common (and expensive) issues with the E32 are primarily electronic/electrical. Check all of the electronics for full functionality, particularly the transmission action (it's electronically controlled) and all accessories.
Mechanically, the primary issues are maintenance rather than defect. Check:
1) front control arm bushings and other related parts - shimmy under braking at highway speed is an indicator of repairs in excess of $1200 (when done correctly).
2) iL models have self-levelling rear shock absorbers, check that they are working properly... have 2-3 people sit on the open trunk edge when the car is off, and then start the car. It should raise up to compensate for their weight.
3) listen for any thunks or vibration under acceleration, braking, or bumps. Bad subframe bushings, pitman arms, driveshaft center support bearing, driveshaft flex disk, and front suspension components can be the culprit. Again, wear items but not exactly cheap to repair.
How many miles are on this car and what is the asking price?

Yes, the man who never sleeps!
Cool publicity in the recent Roundel, BTW (exhaust-related).

thanks for the reply guys, I bought the car over ebay for $4400. Was a texas car all its life except for the current owner who is in lousiana but I am bringing it back to texas now ... :) ... I am expecting some work needs to be done and have already set aside $1500 for that but right now if you believe the owners decription it needs nothing and is running good. I have a mechanic who works on all my previous cars for $20 per hr so labor will not be as much of an issue as parts, but there are always used parts if nothing else ...
