Hey, i was looking at a 91 318i 5 speed transmission for my 74 2002 and i was just wondering if it would be possible to convert that transmission into my m10 motor? thnx

I don't know about the '91 318, but the 5 speed overdrives from the early '80s 320s work pretty well, and there's probably not much difference in the gearing. Plus, you could use the LSD differential some of them came with.

E30 m10 5 speeds are quiet a bit larger. They also have no mechanical speedo drive. Anything is possible but, why make a easy swap difficult. As mentioned, just use a e21 overdrive(80-83 320i). Its a much easier swap and reputable companies like 2002 haus have a great install kit that will make it an afternoon swap.
