How do I put a aftermarket (blitz,Greddy,...) brow off valve on my 95 Dinan supercharged m3?? Right now there is in-line BOV (came w/ s/c kit) that blows the air back into the intake side of the supercharger. I wanted a loud one that would just blow off into the engine bay and NOT re-use the hot air! I took the hose off the outlet of the Dinan(Bosh) BOV and caped off were it went into the intake, so that it would just blow off in the engine bay. But it made the car run bad(idled up and down) and the bosh BOV was blowing air even @ idle. Does this s/c set up have to be use w/ this bosh BOV return air set up so that it runs right, OR is it possable to put an aftermarket BOV on that just blows off in the engine bay?? How do you do it??

YOU CAN NOT USE A BOV WITH A STOCK DIANA/RMS/ESS/ERT/AA SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM!!!!!......


Unless you go TEC3 or other stand alone... you are stuck with a BYPASS valve.

The car will run like CRAP if you use a BOV and the stock system.

Please feel free to SEARCH next time as this is asked ALOT LOL

P.S. I recomend upgrading from the crap Bosh valve you probably have to a Forged or Stratmosphere Bypass valve due to a much more rigid and beter performaning design!!!!

i know this is not the way its supposed to be setup, but just wnated to try it out

first off.. runs perfectly... still getting full boost
idle is perfect
no CEL

oh and.. sounds SIIIICK

but i know i wont keep this on.. just thought id share --- whats the downfall to this setup if im not having ne problems running it? just curious

do you have a Wideband gauge? your air fuels are probably all screwie.

Looks like the car would run very rich when you're higher revs (making boost) but not at WOT. Basically the measured air would be let out of the BOV and the ECU is still adding the fuel for it.

right, thats what i figured... i took like a 5 min drive.. didn't smell anything, but i know thats not a very good test for running rich

You wouldn't smell anything really, but you might see some black smoke out the back at part throttle + higher revs.
