I've been happy with Ric Farrar. He's near Washington Square. He has been very fair and done a good job on my E12, E28 and E34. I have at least five year's experience with him. His phone is 503 245-2506.

I usually go to pacificmotorsports on powell BLVD. before Ross Isl. Bridge. Top quality shop. They are fully service BMW only shop. Had my M3 swap done by them.

Ya, I love pacific... They have taken care of all my e30's for the stuff that I didnt feel like doing. Mark is a great person and extremly understanding when it comes to payments... Both the Techs are Top notch, and they can handle anything, from routine repairs to engine swaps etc.

I would highly recommend Marque Motors. I have not taken my car to him (nothing has broken yet that I could fix), but my dad to his Porsche 968 cab to him exclusively. We have taken our '70 2002 to him as well. You'd be hard pressed to find a better, more professional shop than this one. Curt is the owner, as well as one of the mechanic's.

They only work on European cars there and will do nothing less than a perfect job. In the 2+ years that my dad used his service's he had nothing but 100% satisfaction. I will certainly take my car to him when I need a repair done that I can't do.

I would have to say Pacific as well but if it gets too technical you better ask for one of the techs.
