Remember a while ago, I was talking about my oil light being on. Well its on all the time, and I have done everything in my knowledge to check it. I replaced the Oil Sensor, I changed my oil (today), I checked for leaks. It burns oil still, so its sending oil fine. Just the Oil Light is on... Any thoughts of what else could be causing this?

I fail to understand your logic behind this statement.

I fail to understand your logic behind this statement.

I fail to understand anything I know.

I mean, its using oil, so the pump is working, its not just sitting in the oil tank. I have to buy something to check the pressure huh?

Check the oil pressure before you blow it up.

Maybe someone else can tell you exactly how to do it.

let the car run and loosen the oil pressure switch a little and see if oil comes out. DON'T LOOSEN IT TOO MUCH OR YOU WILL SQUIRT OIL EVERYWHERE

well i dont know the specifics on the oil pressure sender but it has to be either a resistor or generator so a specfic voltage or resistance will be able to tell you if you have good oil pressure or not. I wish i had my manuals with me here but they are at work which do you no good. or you could hook up a gauge to where the sender is. whatever is easier for you - chris

Not sure at what pressure the light comes on -
:help BUT just because you have oil pressure / does not mean you have enough oil pressure!!!!! :nono

And the light should hopefully come on before the oil pressure drops to the point the motor :help :mad :help

I think you should look into putting in an oil pump - I've lost one! and motor rebuilds are not cheap!
My 2 cents

That is why I now have an Oil Gage in my car! :alright
