Too bad I can't put the pedal to the ground just yet :( --Christina I blame your instructor. I still can't figure out how he spun a 318i-automatic. ---Eric APCe36solo2 09-24-2005, 09:06 PM yea that did take some skill i manage not to spin my 328 but really goofed in jason's car... sorry boss!! however, i still turned in a respectable time in my car so i'm not too disappointed about my poor performance driving his car Christina - you don't have to put the pedal to the floor, that was my problem vrsixer 09-24-2005, 09:28 PM Excellent course today. Christina - stop taking his advice. He managed to "instruct" someone off course that asked him to navigate. :rolleyes ---Eric APCe36solo2 09-25-2005, 01:00 AM i navigated them through the part of the course they missed the first bunch of times; didn't expect i needed to point out a pointer cone -- whoops! my advice today included: "Please stop hitting my car with cones" and "If you want a fast time, making course workers run everywhere won't help" :ponder vjlax18 09-25-2005, 08:44 AM It was a fun course... way to go Ken!!! schosports 09-25-2005, 09:31 AM Glad to hear all of you had fun. I will try to make an effort to bring out the "Taxi" to the last two. I miss you all but I got the new hotness...... ps. yes, this is a pic of me on VACATION  last week. I finally took a few days off. APCe36solo2 09-25-2005, 10:11 AM the course was AWESOME! i think that course was the most challenging i've ever driven and it really made me realize that the gas pedal is not an "on/off" switch (thx for that one guys). Bill glad to see you're finally free from your hectic job and able to spend time with your family, although i think a bunch of us feel like you've been neglecting us missing some autox's :nono M-technik-3 09-25-2005, 11:35 AM I too had a fun time, now when will results be up... :) I had to chase quite a few cones in heat 2. I found out that I just need to be a little more agressive and we need to have more events. Less time in between events would be nice. Will try to talk the airfield manager into allowing use of the field on Sundays. I might need a CCA member later with insurance details and such... Hopefully this will fly for next year, If not we also have a larger parking lot on post that has good pavement. Yeah John after YOUR 11 runs in my car, and my 4....my VictorRacers are still crying... :( vjlax18 09-25-2005, 08:48 PM It was 9. :rolleyes Thanks again and remember, 35/28 :D MdMcoupe 09-25-2005, 10:20 PM John, I have a VERY SMALL cord showing in one of my front tires. Can I flip these tires at work, and get a couple more AutoX's out of them. The bad spot is about the size of a pea...? :help vjlax18 09-25-2005, 10:30 PM What? I was looking at them all day to check for wear, and you need lot more camber. You can flip them and should. You should also swap the strut hats before the next event. MdMcoupe 09-25-2005, 10:36 PM John, Honestly I am not upset!!!! Can I give you a call tomorrow? vjlax18 09-25-2005, 10:39 PM Off course, I'd say call me now, but I'm going to bed. clintjg 09-26-2005, 07:34 AM Great course guy's. Lot's of fun out there and good to meet a bunch of folks! On a related note: Must get R-comps.... kenkamm 09-26-2005, 06:47 PM Thanks for the kind words about the course, guys. It's getting tough to keep designing different and fun and challenging courses on that lot because of it's shape. Glad you guys had fun. Can't wait to design one for Ripken with this year's course design experience under my belt. Cheers, Ken nick325xit 5spd 09-26-2005, 06:52 PM Thanks for the kind words about the course, guys. Can't wait to design one for Ripken with this year's course design experience under my belt. Cheers, Ken Brendan and I were having "no steer" issues with that course. But apparently all the tire smoke was a real crowd pleaser. bren 09-26-2005, 07:51 PM That course gets the award for tightest gates....someone with a small car must have designed it ;) kenkamm 09-26-2005, 10:58 PM What happens is, I lay out the course, and then Kevin drives through with his tail-happy E30 and re-arranges all my gates to make them narrower. I don't have the energy to argue with him about it all morning. :( I understand we want to slow people down before the curbs, but..... M-technik-3 09-26-2005, 11:33 PM little cars....haha like the 540i sport. Must say I still hate miata's. vjlax18 09-27-2005, 12:34 AM I got the M-coupe through the gates pretty easily. :dunno clintjg 09-27-2005, 07:29 AM I got the M-coupe through the gates pretty easily. :dunno :redspot bren 09-27-2005, 08:54 AM I got the M-coupe through the gates pretty easily. :dunno Are you suggesting an Mcoupe is a large car? :confused vjlax18 09-27-2005, 09:02 AM No, but it's got a fat ass and is hard to judge how wide it is. MdMcoupe 09-29-2005, 09:07 PM how about Bren and Nick. They were both driving Nicks car :help . Or does this mean that since Bren went to Topeka that whatever he drives now gets bumped up a class :shifty bren 09-29-2005, 09:15 PM how about Bren and Nick. They were both driving Nicks car :help . Or does this mean that since Bren went to Topeka that whatever he drives now gets bumped up a class :shifty That was my choice :stickoutt APCe36solo2 09-29-2005, 09:25 PM Was Ben Sarli classed correctly? His car is listed as an M3, but he's under PS. Ben has been moved to the appropriate class which is PSS in the revised results. how about Bren and Nick. They were both driving Nicks car :help . Or does this mean that since Bren went to Topeka that whatever he drives now gets bumped up a class :shifty LOL, but what happens if he drives in MSS already? What would we bump him up to? Bren was driving a PSS spec car, but he has been driving in MSS all year. We do not transfer points; therefore, he wanted to race in MSS where he would continue to accumulate points. Similarly, Nick races mostly in PSS and the car was setup to PSS spec. clyde325xiT 09-29-2005, 10:32 PM I did the same thing when I drove Nick's car last time. A car that is "properly classed" in Showroom should also be eligbile in Prepared and Modified since it hasn't had anything done to it that would make it illegal for Prepared or Modified. Similarly, anything that is "properly classed" in Prepared should also be eligble for Modified. OTOH, the cars should be kept to their own channels as appropriate (Touring, Sport or Super Sport)...see Mrs. bren running in MSS in a 325Ci (not to be taken as a complaint, just pointing it out). APCe36solo2 09-29-2005, 10:55 PM updated autocross results are up MdMcoupe 09-29-2005, 10:57 PM Similarly, Nick races mostly in PSS and the car was setup to PSS spec.
