CHECK THIS OUT! DUE TO A FRIEND OF MINE - WHO HAS RESEARCHED THIS FOR A WHILE:
Boycotting the gas company will decrease the price dramatically. Ive checked into it and if over half the US didnt buy gas for 1 day, the gas companys would be close to bankrupcy!!! So Lets show them how to lower gas prices. So repost this to all your friends. We have to get the word out. Its NATIONAL DONT BUY GAS DAY!!!
So repost it!!!...and REMEMBER NO GAS SEPTEMBER THIRD (3rd)!!!

tell everyone

Sorry, I have to buy gas that day. I'm driving back to college and moving into my apartment. I actually might need to buy gas twice that day. Good luck anyways.

your friend is wrong. boycotting gas companies for one day does nothing because the next day if you do nothing you get stuck. it will have no effect on gas prices. now on the other hand if you boycott say exxon or a major gas company then they will have no choice but to lower prices because there is gas available just no one buys from them making the other companies follow lowering their prices to compete you see its all simple dont make it hard.

so exactly what happens when everyone who didnt buy gas on the 3rd.. buys gas on the 4th? Does that give the company a pretty nice bankruptcy exit plan? I mean.. they'd nearly go from making no $ to billions in one day :confused

Really, lets not buy gas on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, the last summer holiday of the year. I guess not a lot of people will be on the roads anyway! You know, milk is a little high these days also. Lets not buy any milk on Sep 3rd!

Actually sometimes those online things do work. Remember when that one e-mail went around and it got the New Kids on the Block played on TRL??!?

That was awesome.

Duh - you make your own! :rolleyes

Easy - take a dinosaur bone, crush it REEEAL HARD between your hands, and you should get about a drop of unrefined crude. After that, it's just a matter of refining, marketing, transporting and supplying that single drop - you've just hit the fucking WINDFALL baby!! :buttrock

Or eat a bunch of fried food and go the biodiesel route. Someone in North Carolina was racing a biodiesel e30 for awhile. It's now for sale on the BMW CCA club racing site but it's had a m20b25 swapped in.
