I have been scanning through forum looking for info on diagnosing an oil leak in the intake manifold on a 2000 540i E39. Had car inspected by "TWO DIFFERENT" BMW dealers in a period of two weeks. First inspection reported oil leak and 5.5 hrs labor for repair. Had car inspected by another BMW dealer for repair of reported leak and was told intake manifold was okay no leaking found? Upon further info seeking, I was told this is a common problem with the BMW E39 V8 engine.

:help !!! before warranty runs out.
