the car runs ok but it backfires, especially when i blip the throttle. i was reading in my manual that it may have to do with the air pump. well, there is no belt around my air pump, and i can't even turn it by hand. so, i think i'll scrap it. is there any way to make the engine run well without the exhaust/air pump/emissions crap?
