Today as I attempted to air out my car for an afternoon trip I noticed that my sunroof was tilted a little so I figured I didnt tilt it all the way, but when I tried to tilt it again it made some strange noise and barley tilts. It closes and opens fine for the sunroof feature, but now when try to use the tilt feature it won't even tilt up at all! I can literally push it up and down with my hand. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Mines doing EXACTLY the same thing. Hopefully someone can come on that will shed some light. If I can't figure it out this weekend, I'll be taking it to my mechanic next week and will tell you whats wrong.

Have you tried applying lithium grease to the tracks? Maybe it's just wear.

Mine won't even open, but it will lift. It made a strange noise and I found this broken plastic piece on my seat. I hate that my moonroof doesn't work, but I will not get raped by the dealership on this!
