I did a search, but did not really find a complete answer. I am looking at a 528i (E39) How do I tell if it is a Sport Package aside from the BBS wheels, which I love. What was included in the Sport Package. Thanks in advance.

99 and 2000 models have a 3-spoke steering wheel. Other than that, I think you would have to check out the suspension pieces....but I'm not sure how easy that would be.

check out if your car has shadowline trim.

Also, the seats. I am not sure, but I think the sport seats overrode the comfort seats. Those are the biggest deal on the sport package anyhow (IMHO).
