So me and my friend were leaving work(Lowes) tonight at like 10pm. Me in my 95 GTi vr6 and my friend in his 95 5.0 stang hop on the rt. 30 bypass going west. Were crusing around 80mph. We rolled pass this black 325i bimmer looked really nice. We came up to the rt322 on ramp where i got in the right lane so the bimmer could catch up. I didn't know if he would race or fool around or anything so i let him pass me. I followed him for a little while where I finally look down at my speed and see 95mph so im in top of 4th gear and the 325 is going anywhere. I finally get next to him and he stays with me for about 5sec. then i slowly started to pull on him and just kept it floored all the way past him till i guess he finally just let off. Fun time, nice car who ever it was. I know these kills arent very liked on here but i am not ragging on an bimmer i wish i bought one over the VR. But i didn't i know there fast my firend Jason Knezo has a 99m3 and my other friend mike Barbato(wcm3) has an S/C 95M3.O yea should i of beat that car. What do they have stock Hp???

seems logical. I think 325's (was it e36 or e46) e36 I believe had like 170hp, maybe equal or more TQ. Probably around 3k-3.1k lbs. So the story seems logical.

Just for the record, it isn't that we don't like seeing bimmers lose. That is all godo and dandy. most of us, know we don't have the fastest cars, and dont mind seeing our cars get beat. Just when trolling is taking place, that we get disgruntled. Your story seems perfectly logical, you didn't come in saying "0h My G4wD!!!111!!1!1 I just pwnT me a 325, those things are s0 Sl0w!!!!11!1 I kill3d !t." :D

If it was an E36, it would be 95 or earlier. In 96 they had the 328, and I think in 98 they introduced the 323. If it was an E46, then it could have been a 325, but that would be 2001 and up. But the E36 325, which I'm guessing it was, puts out 189hp and 184ft/lbs torque at around 3000lbs.

my friend had a modded vr and he admits that i would pull on him. he doesnt wana race though. but then again i have alot of bolt ons. was the 325 stock that you raced?

Yea the car was an e36 325 and i think it was stock except for exhaust, becasue it sounded real good when we got next to each other.
