Ive got Friday Night - Tues Morning.

I think Nick called dibs, but whomever decides to room with me needs to stay all days or pay for 50% of all days.

going down thursday to get a good spot, so all of you stay home till after then. Supposedly I have a hotel but id rather sleep at the track, I hate being the young rookie. Always the designated driver by law. But hey if they ever pop a 8am race on us ill have an advantage on all the hung over people, hell some of you might even be possible RUI's

Meh, and deal with Friday night traffic? I'll still split Fri - Tue tho. How much is it?

FYI.. Greensboro is still 1-1.5 hours from VIR.It looks like it's an hour drive from Greensboro to VIR, right up 29. I am scheduled for Monday and Tuesday's driving schools and was thinking about staying in Danville. Since it's no further than Germantown to SPR, I might as well stay in Greensboro overnight. Although I wouldn't mind leaving the car at the track Monday night and hitching a ride back and forth with someone.

I have to drive to Greensboro to register for DE :mad I guess I'll go Sat night after the race. The reason for that is because in the past Ofests they have had registration in multiple locations. It became a real cluster f'. I might be able to work something out for you if they allow me to pick up your registration material, unless you need to sign the waiver before getting your DE packet.

That would be cool, however, where is the tech?

I believe the school is going to be like any other Tarheel school.
The instructor goes over the car with you and hands it in at the false grid.
Tarheel doesn't run there cars through a tech line. I'll ask though.

Interesting approach, considering the fact that on-site tech is a mostly a joke anyway, at almost any event.

This is how NASA does it too.... and is what I prefer. I'd rather be the one doing the "joke" tech inspection especially since Ill be the one riding in it!

OK, there is no 'tech' except for the form. Your instructor should go over the form with you. There will be a clean tech on the grid.

I can't bring your registration to the track. Sorry.
