Capitol Grille if you're willing to drive. what $ amount you looking to spend? sKunkman 08-21-2005, 12:14 AM Neither of those are near annandale. There is a melting pot in arlington, its fantastic, and capitol grille is good as usual. Cheesecake factory is just down the road from capitol grille....damn I dunno, I'm poor so I don't go to nice restaurants. wushucivic 08-21-2005, 03:24 AM what kind of food are you looking for? asiandale has a lot of different types of food. old skool 08-21-2005, 08:38 AM I don't have a specific prefered food type. Chinese, Thai, Sushi, Indian, Mexican or upscale would all be nice. For the occaision it might be nice to find a restaurant that is not a chain, but that is not an absolute requirement. Driving some distance is not a big concern either. MikeHsu 08-21-2005, 11:03 AM theres a new resturaunt on route 7 called The Essential Grille. Its very good, i work there :D old skool 08-21-2005, 12:22 PM In Falls Church on Leesburg Pike? "Organic, all natural?" http://www.fcnp.com/524/restaurant.htm Certainly got a rave review. I would be interested in checking it out if this is the same one. What do you recommend? What is your basic take on the atmosphere or "point" of the restaurant? wushucivic 08-21-2005, 03:28 PM I don't have a specific prefered food type. Chinese, Thai, Sushi, Indian, Mexican or upscale would all be nice. For the occaision it might be nice to find a restaurant that is not a chain, but that is not an absolute requirement. Driving some distance is not a big concern either. for thai you can go to Duangrat's 5878 Leesburg Pike Falls Church, VA 22041 there is a indian place right next to but it forget the name. they are both pretty good. there is also an indian place called Punjab Dhaba 7263-F Arlington Blvd Falls Church, VA which is in loehmann's plaza but they're not real fancy. for chinese i would recommend my friend's restaurant but they have 2 locations and one is in DC and the other is in chevy chase, md. while they are both upscale the chevy chase location is the nicer of the two. i'm not really sure if you want to drive that far. i’ll give you the address if you are interested though. old skool 08-21-2005, 04:26 PM I spend a good bit of time in MD/DC so I will certainly take the suggestion. sKunkman 08-21-2005, 05:59 PM Also for good indian food Minerva on Rt. 50 in fairfax is fantastic. Its in the shopping center by the hooters and before the dodge dealership, on your right if youre going West on 50. wushucivic 08-21-2005, 09:30 PM it's called Meiwah 1200 New Hampshire Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. 20036 or 4457 Willard Ave. Chevy Chase, MD 20815 UberBimmer 08-23-2005, 04:54 PM what kind of food are you looking for? asiandale has a lot of different types of food.
