Hi Guys,

I just ordered a 325i (in Oz) with the 17" 161 wheels. Other options are:

- Black metallic (it's called black saphire here in Oz)
- Nav system
- Bi-xenon
- Hi-Fi Logic 7 sound
- Sunroof
- Sports suspension
- PDC

If anyone has these wheels on their E90 (preferably black exterior), could you please post. I am considering changing over to the 18" 162 wheels, but I'll have to sacrifice one of the other options.

If anyone has an E90 without BiXenon could you post as well - I'd like to see the diference in the look of the headlights also.

I don't have any pics but if you search I'm sure you'll find some. The Xenon's are way better than the halogens though. It's great going into turn and seeing the lights turn with the car. Looks really cool. Plus the output of the Xenon's turns day into night! And I'm not sure how it is in your market, but in the US, 330's have the Logic7 and xenon's standard. If you want those options just get the 330? I doubt it would be a $ issue with the car you have listed as your current vehicle. The 330i is worth the money for sure. Then you can get your 162 wheels with the sports package as well so you'll save loot over buying another set of wheels.

Thanks for the information. I have actually found pictures since posting and I have also done _a_lot_ of reading in the forums. The 162 wheels are definitely better looking but I am not really willing to compromise on the other options. Also I have read that ride comfort is better with 17" wheels (?).

As far as Xenons go, in Australia the cornering function is optional and I chose not to take it up since I have already overspec'd the car.

The options packages are heaps different here, and the $$ gap between the 325 and the 330 is pretty big - even with all these options I am still at least $10K away from what I would be paying for a 330i (and that would be a plain 330i with hardly any options).

I'm hanging out waiting for delivery - I still don't even have an ETA or a build date from the dealer ... it's agonising :(
