How much off MSPR (or above invoice) should I expect to get on a NEW 325? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. In the market and just want to ensure that I get a good deal.

Hey - This might depend on where you live. I live in Philly and paid a couple grand over invoice, and a grand lower than msrp.

I got mine for $500 over dealer invoice.

325i dealer invoice for a "base" car is $27,755, but they also have to pay destination charge, which is $695, for a total dealer cost of $28,450. I have been offered a car for $29,995 which seems fair, as long as they don't try to add in the delivery charge on top of that. Any comments?

Always negotiate up from dealer invoice, never down from sticker or MSRP.

E90s are quite hot right now so negotiations are somewhat limited. I've heard of folks getting $500 over invoice, but I think that would be the more the exception than the rule. Somewhere around $1000 to $1500 over is more common.

Much of this depends upon your location, your negotiation skills and more importantly who you know or may have an ongoing releationship with at a given dealer. If you do know someone, you should definitely expect no more that $500 over invoice.

Average gross of central region dealers is $1400 on 325i's. Dealers only have about $2000 to work with on 325's unless the car is fully optioned out. If you get $1000 of MSRP, you done good. I hear alot of dealers are selling them at sticker, but that's crazy.
