View Full Version : Bye bye 325 and 330, Welcome back 328, and HELLO 335
defex 08-17-2005, 07:39 PM Just had a visit with the dealer yesterday trying to decide whether or not I'm going to get a 330ci coupe or a 325i e90 and as we were going over some paper work he pulled out a sheet to show me when the coupes were due out. On the sheet I caught a glimpse of "2006: 328 and 335" It appears BMW will be once again changing the naming scheme and dropping the 325 in favor of the 328, 330 for the 335. This info is straight from the dealer's 2006 product sheet! Now it has me wanting to wait to see what these cars will be like. I really don't want to buy a 325 only to have it canceled and upgraded to a 328 (which im assuming will be similar in power to the current 330) in a year or two! What are your thoughts?

Can't imagine they'll change the motor when it's brand new. We know there will be a 335 which will be the 3.0 with twin turbo. Don't know about the 328, maybe a diesel???

I've gone through every single source I have at BMW and not one of them has anything about a E90 328. The 335 is almost old news by now, so I find it hard to believe that there wasn't more talk on bf.c if a 328 was really in development or even close to release. If it is coming, it's years off.
