I need to get a 32mm open end wrench to remove my fan. I was at the hardware store today comparing the 32mm to a 1 1/4" wrench(which I already have). They look real real close to being the same size.
Anybody know if the 1 1/4" wrench will fit. I hate to spend the $ for a tool I probably will only use once. But, if I have to, I will.Thanks

32/25.4 = 1 1/4 inch - should be fine.

It might, or might not work. 1.25x25.4=31.75mm. If the wrench is a touch sloppy and the bolt head is not slightly large it will work. If the wrench won't quite go on you could grind out the jaws a mite.

Ahhh, Hell.
After buying water pump, thermostat, coolant, belts, whats another 25 bucks.
Just hate to have to stop in the middle of a repair to run out to the store.
I'll just break down and buy one.
