Anybody know who makes the OEM BMW shocks and struts?

I'm pretty sure it's Boge on the E36 non-M vehicles. When I replaced my suspension the rear shocks were made by Boge. I believe these were the original equipment.

Sachs and Boge are the same company, so shock absorbers might be labeled Sachs.

Boge (sachs) on e36 non M3, but what are the stock shocks brand on the M3>? (1999). there black, like the springs.
