He can determine what spring rates you should need by your driving and comfort etc. He knows his stuff from what I've heard. My cousin has 400 ft/ 600 rear but he also has revalved bilsteins for that combo. It is very stiff, a little uncomfortable for street driving, but I think a lot of that has to do with the bilsteins. A stiff spring/damper combo doesn't always mean the best performance. I forgot to add that my cousins car has very neutral handling, which I think is great.
