I am considering doing this when I get the funds. Any pics? Preferably on 17's? Thanks.

Dave, I know Rob (on DTM) had the H&R Race springs on his car a while ago. You might want to ask him if he has any pictures of them.

Here's a 95 with H & R Sports springs and Bilstein dampeners... The Race and Sport spring are the same length, so both ride at the same height. So same aesthetically, but different performance.

Unfortunately, attachments aren't working right now. (http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40191) :( If you'd like, you can email it to me at fick182@aol.com and I'll host it for you.

BTW, I've decided to go Ground Control Coilovers with Koni Single Adjustable shocks/struts. There's a GC group buy going on right now. Does anyone know what spring rates I should get? I'm thinking of going 350 front and 500 rear.

Here it is..

You are referring to E36's right? Your sig has a E30.

Does it matter how your car rides on the street? The H&R race with are 345/515(F/R) seemed too firmed for me on the street.. but if you are willing to sacrifice that for the track..

Dave, talk to the guy at Ground Control over the phone. He can determine what spring rates you should need by your driving and comfort etc. He knows his stuff from what I've heard. My cousin has 400 ft/ 600 rear but he also has revalved bilsteins for that combo. It is very stiff, a little uncomfortable for street driving, but I think a lot of that has to do with the bilsteins. A stiff spring/damper combo doesn't always mean the best performance. I forgot to add that my cousins car has very neutral handling, which I think is great. Run your rates by the guy over the phone and see if that is a good setup.

Right now,My car sits about 1 1/2 "-2" lower than the h&r race, using the GC Coilovers.

For some reason the link doesn't work for me. Try taking the < br%20/ > part out of the URL. Here is a picture.
