Tonight, my brother and I were cruising around town when we came to a stop light. He was in his 1994 Mercedes E320 Wagon and I was in my chipped 1985 635CSi. When the light turned green we both floored it and all the way up to 40 mph we were dead even. At 40 though, the shark shifted up and I flew on ahead of my bro's wagon. We did it a couple more times with a similar result. Personally, I was amazed that my brother's stock wagon could keep up even just to 40 mph. :buttrock

damn, yall are heartless. It isn't like it was a gallardo and a 575 racing. It was a 635, and e320. he didn't say they only went to 40, he said that is when he pulled. It was just a race of slow cars. The only thing this story lacked, was a bit of ficticious novel writing, to really make it a gripping epic adventure. But that can all come in time. :)

I understand that this wasn't exactly an epic race. i just thought it was somewhat interesting that the wagon kept pace for a little while. the reason i haven't done much else racing is b/c i just recently got a ticket and would like to go a while without getting another.
