look at the difference in responses by posting over here in the 5er forum as opposed to the FI forum. FI is where i spend most of my time but some of the people over there jsut live to shoot down threads like this one. this is all i have to say, congrats on the new system, hope it works out for ya.

WOW that's freaking awsome. If the reliability is there along with the power, it will be tough to beat.
Great job AA :buttrock

btw, how similar is this to the kit that ca-autotech is developing. i remmember 540is (guy in sweden with a built and s/c 540i and a m5 twin s/c) saying that he built the twin rotrex kit for his m5 and was working on the kit with ca-autotech. they look very similar, if not identical, but are they?

That is just ausome.

I would love to see some kind of video of that dyno, or ever a pass of that beast. You make us E39'ers proud dude.

You got any specs on 1/4 mile times?

Saw it today... looked like the stock bumper on there to me. Also sounded like a learjet. Badass car. Now just get those dents fixed :)

cute Jimmy, real slick of you with the twist on wording.

you're restricted from FI access because of your history as a troll on bfc. the only reason why you haven't been banned yet is because we were feeling generous.

your constant attacks on forum members in FI and your lack of respect to forum rules placed you in this situation, not me or any one else on the staff of this forum.

if you don't like it, go find another board to whore up with your thug tactics and threats.

I guess you're going to send a dozen more PMs to me now, crying about how you'll be nicer to the members. You didn't get back in from your groveling and begging before, you're not getting it now.

let me clean up my PM inbox so you can go ahead with those messages out to me again. you better slap on your knee pads again.

Yeah, I saw that too. Looks way wrong on that car.

interesting... still not sure I'd take that chance with an S62, I suspect you could build a M62 to the same power level and have more "disposable" internals...

but again, I'm a cheap bastard...

indeed. The FI forum is more cautious to accept any claims since there have been many half truths from all sides. I believe Paul E said it best:

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4731633&postcount=41

---

an excellent effort by AA to introduce realistic FI to the M5 crowd. even without a warranty by AA, you could swap out the motor twice for the savings over Dinan's setup.

I believe AA is offering 2 year/unlimited mileage warranty on this setup. that's plenty more then anything Dinan will offer.
