I find it amazing the difference in parts cost from one dealer to another. Congratulations to Rusnak Westlake who, over the past year, has increased parts pricing considerably according to my informal observation. I guess they're trying to raise money for their new facility ala Bob Smith. Here are some quotes I got the other day for a seat motor:
Rusnak Westlake.....................$159.70
Bob Smith..............................$150.00
Pacific (Glendale)....................$131.61
Steve Thomas........................$117.70
Pacific does give 10% for BMWCCA which would have made it $118. I paid $113 at ST who appearently offers a 5% discount. Still the best bet.
The purpose of the post is to inform fellow consumers and BMW enthusiasts of this blatant inequity. Happy parts shopping.
