Memphis is damn near #1 in the industry blocking internet sales.
You sell memphis online, you never sell memphis again.
they personally inspect their dealers and are pretty f-ing hardcore
no support provided for non-dealer purchases (online or not) - if online, that person is not a dealer - or wont be soon

Plus, the MOJO and LVS are subs you really need to demo to believe.

I don't lilke their component speakers. quality not too great.

hmmm well i was looking to get speakers from them and not subs. What speakers would you recommend? I need tweeters, midranges and just some woofers.

I had the studio components that allowed the tweeter to mount in the middle.

I was excited to have tweeters in the kicks. The engineering and build quality of those things sucked. Major

at my cost I think I paid $200 for them and I still felt ripped off. They were the most embarassing speaker to demo too. The tweeter mounted in the center was held in with three plastic tabs. If the woofer was rocking, the tweeter would eventually just pop loose (there was a spring behind it to give it tension to hold it in, all that did was make it a "musical chairs" style projectile)

I can't even count how many customers were pegged by those. I got popped in the head by them and moved them closer to the floor.

They worked no better in my car.

They run good off of head unit power, amp power not so much.

I don't even remember if they sounded ok or not

remember this was about three or four years ago, they may be better now (anything would be)

well what speakers are you using now? If you even work with that stuff anymore?

I'm currently running a Dynaudio system 360. Completely different end of the spectrum. About $800-$1300-$2k for a set (depending on where and when you find one...)

I am really becoming a fan of elemental designs amps, I assume their speakers are pretty good.

in the memphis price range, the image dynamics chameleons never dissappointed.

Hehe, I remember those. They are actually really good build now, the M Class comps MCSYNC's. At the price you actually feel you paid and got every penny's worth now.

Subs and amps...indeed what you said.
