Hi i was just wondering if you think my co-worker shoudl get a winter beater for the winter, or would the 330 not be that bad with some good snows? she is really pretty.

The e90 should be like any other rear drive BMW in the snow - great as long as it has good snows. If anything the 330 should be better than older cars because of its more advanced traction, stability, and abs systems.

Although I don't know how it will work in the snow, the DSC system has gotten me out of some really sticky situations in the dry/wet. It seems as if stability controls are getting better quite rapidly, and the E90 is a great example. The 330 sport package car I drove the other night seemed like I couldn't wreck it if I tried. No matter how fast I took the turn, the car always went where the steering wheel was pointing.
