View Full Version : Polished Lips on teh Vessel
SehrSchnell 08-06-2005, 02:24 PM I'm pondering having the lips polished on the Vessel's Breyton shoes. Anyone have a good contact for doing this? I assume Wheelwerks will prolly come up..
Since the vess is a chrome trim whoooore, i'm thinking this little bling might add it to. No?

Cameron Hauck 08-06-2005, 03:35 PM I would like them polished, but if you have to take it to wheel works don't even bother. Ask around and see who else could get it done.
croberts12 08-06-2005, 03:57 PM I know absolutley nothing about this topic and have no opinion so i will not vote.

jteef 08-06-2005, 04:08 PM i voted no because i think it would look stupid unless you darkened the color of the rest of the wheel.
you have a silver car, another shade of silver wheels, another shade of silver bumper sink drain things, etc. keep it consistent!

I dont understand, I have polished all over though (at least that shade, i.e. the window trim, bumper trim, kidney's). :dunno
But thanks, I value all opinions. I will ponder more.

12:03 08-07-2005, 10:52 AM but 19s instead. lighter ones.
BIMMERBOYZ 08-07-2005, 01:24 PM Well since I am the future owner of this car I slept on it and voted polished lip I think it will match nicely with all the trim of the car.
Bigger and lighter wheels would not hurt though.
VitSports6 08-07-2005, 01:59 PM I say yes, But its not my $$$ or 5, IF you arent completely happy.
Good luck

I heart the Spirits. Way nice wheel.
I'm really not too concerned about the weight, the vessel has enough nautical power that I am happy with. I want looks!
Cameron Hauck 08-07-2005, 02:08 PM That wheel is awesome.
p nut 08-07-2005, 02:41 PM That pic was just for color reference. ;)

From the south currently, at about 7 MPH. Actually, I think I would like to have the polished. I will be looking into who can do this.
