Ok, I am sure that everyone knows the sounds of the m3 when you open the hood. Mainly the sound of the injectors that sound like a sewing machine, at idle. Its like fast clicking. Well I was driving and didnt notice til I stopped, but that sound was like really loud, really loud. I know the sound of a rod going cause this is my 3rd m3, and had it happen other times, on other cars, so its not that, the car pulls AMAZING. Could it be a fan belt, a bearing? Bearings went on my 01 330ci s/c'ed? MAybe a faulty lifter? A bad injector? The service engine light did come on, but after 3 rotations of the key, it went back off...Any ideas?
