Looking at getting a combo. of underdrive pulleys and software.
Relatively cheap (around 400$ per chance?) looking at software. Any recommendations that any of you have experienced?
Also, underdrive pulleys...so many options all quoting same HP figures. Anyone know of a cheap pair that I could purchase? Also if you HAVE installed this product, was it easy/hard? Thanks in advance

Hi,
I've added;
-BHS pulleys ($240)
-K&N 63 intake ($275)
-AA software & AA muffler ($1200 combo deal)
I dyno'ed at 293WHP (SAE corrected) in an open bay on a hot day. My guess is that I'm between 350-360 HP @ the crank. Definately a noticeable improvement & a fierce growl when accelerating. Pulleys and software will add a small kick, maybe 5% (15HP). 5% is hard for the butt-dyno to notice. You will notice the steering gets heavier after the pulleys are on, but I thought the stock assist made steering too light anyway. The AA software is OK, but if you are not getting the combo deal on it, then the Shark should be good as well. Most software updates have similar results. Most pulleys are just about the same too. I went with BHS puleys - good price & Joel at BHS is one of the most helpful vendors I've ever talked to.
As for install, pulling the ECU out was a pain, but rather low tech. Just a lot of tugging and prying. The pulleys were fairly simple, but it is such a tight space it simply takes at least an hour of wiggling and shoving to get everything in the right place. Nothing too tough, just requires patience. Also make sure you have a T50 torx bit handy for one of the pulley tensioners.
Other mods: SS brakelines, x-drilled euro floating rotors, GC front sway bar, strut brace
