are they completely different products or are the DJ or Depo projectors simply the projector36's without DDEs?

No they are all 3 different products. The DJ Auto and Depo products are Euro Ellipsoids and the Projector36 have a more E46 look to the reflector/projector assembly.

are the apexcone hids on par with the xtec hids light output?

lets say philips, hella, and bosch kits are rated 10/10, where would you put xtec and apexcone at?

jsp98m3

Apexcone is probably about a 9.25 - 9.5. Xtec is an easy 11 or 12 since they attain nearly 40 watts of output. The Apexcone kits have a ballast output equal to the Philip but the bulbs are slightly less efficient. Can you see it? I can't but the meter says its there.

Everything short of snapping the bulbs in half, burning big 'ol fingerprints on the glass or drilling holes in the ballasts.

In other words, everything.

Hey Jim, saw your car at Habib and Hamed's yesterday, beautiful, they were trying to match up your Supercharger parts with mine. Beautiful car, I have been having some angel eye issues, I think I have a faulty CCFL box. I'll be contacting you soon. Thanks.

Is that your car?!? Mine is filthy. But Hamed and Habib are great guys and excellent mechanics. When they said that the vendors manual was not real clear on what went where, I offered some suggestions and also said they were free to keep my Dinan car there for stare and compare. I hope it helps. I should have some time free this weekend to help Hamed with it if he needs help. But he's damn good at this stuff.

I'll run some spare DDE parts over for them at lunch. You can swap it quickly or they will do it for you.

I forgot to add the auxiliary lights to this sale. My bad.

This is not for OEM. For those I can suggest various vendors who have stock left over from back when the Euro was .82 not 1.20 to the dollar. Really, I'm sending business elsewhere because their prices are frankly, unbeatable. They have the real OEM units, not the fakes with BMW logos. Be careful, there is a lot of sh** out there masquerading as real OEM.

Now for what WE have.

DEPO and Eagle Eyes E36 parts.

Clear Taillights = 125.00 Sedan or Coupe
Clear corners = 35.00 Sedan or Coupe
Clear Sides = 25.00 Sedan or Coupe.
Crystal Clear or OEM type fogs = 65.00 including bulbs

Multi-item purchase discounts apply.

DEPO or Eagle Eyes E46 parts

Clear Taillights = 150.00/45.00 per pair. (45 for trunk)
Clear sides = 25.00
Clear Bumper reflectors = 35.00
LED Tailights = coming soon*.

*The ugly E46 LED taillight story: The truth of the matter is that NONE of them are working from any supplier at this time. Occasionally one set will work on a fairly new car. But mostly they suck and DEPO has pulled all of them off the market. Eagle Eyes will be working exclusively with Apexcone by sending their engineering team to America this week to work with us to fix this problem on their lights, which will be available for coupe or sedan.

When they are shipped, we will have exclusive distribution on them. You've heard that some of my explanations to problems are just engineering blah, blah, blah. Well, manufacturers appreciate vendors who can assist them solving their problems. I'll see if I can get Eagle Eyes to let their engineers stay for a little PR time after we finish the project and invite everyone over. I think it would be helpful to them to meet the enthusiast community.

We're also planning a nice reception for Apexcone customers with a few of the manufacturers at SEMA this year. For those of you with Audi or VWs as second cars, look for something possibly including Brazilian super models. I'm not kidding. :redspot

Jim,

I'd like to order a pair of e36 crystal clear fogs. You mention bulbs are included. What kind of bulbs are they and are there any other options? I'd like something close in color to the xtec 5000k I bought from you if at all possible (besides new HIDs of course!).

Finally, do we just paypal you directly?

Thanks

I just picked up my Set of 6000k 9006 Apexcone HIDs...they work great and look great. The fogs match the 6000k Xtec headlight bulbs without any problems. Start up is great, and the brightness is unreal. If any of you are contemplating...go for the Apexcone kit and save the money from the Xtec to spend it on other mods like DDEs or something.

The prices are on the first post that was made by Jim. The cheapest there is, is the 200 Apexcone kit. I don't thikn you will find anything cheaper than his prices at all. Everything on ebay to vendors doing groupbuys will be around the 250ish range...none in the 200 range.

What's your shop's address in San Marcos, operating hours, or pickup times?
