I've been told that these wheels on my '76 2002 are rare and worth a pretty penny. Anyone know what they are and why they are valuable. I bought the car with a full set including a spare. Never knew they were anything special and am not convinced they are. Thinking about sellling the car and knowing what these are woulde effect the selling price.

Any closer pics of the wheel at the 5 o'clock position in the image? They look like old 100+ wheels from England.

How about this. Says "made in Britain". Are they rare, and what would you say they are worth for a set of 5? Thanx for your input!!! :)

I don't think they're so rare. The wheels were intended for the e21 chassis and don't fit 02's real well. They will bolt on as is the case on your car but, the offset is'nt ideal. As for value, it's like anything else. Its worth what people are willing to pay. This is the reason e-bay is so popular

I picked up a set of these rims + tires (a set of 4) off eBay earlier this year for $61+ shipping. IIRC, it turned out to be about $120 shipped. I don't have the center caps though, but they were in excellent shape otherwise. YMMV on eBay, I picked up the rims during winter so the demand for parts at that time probably wasn't there.

They look like 100+'s...nice wheels...just not rare or anything. :cool
The person that told you they were worth a pretty penny may have got them mixed up with Alpinas is my guess.
Good luck
