Awesome run for Michael and Ferrari; that was an absolutely torrid pace.

Can't wait to see how this start plays out tomorrow with Schumacher and JPM fighting to get out in front.

Go Michael. :redspot

Hopefully JPM will scorch by the arrogant Schumacher at the start as he did Alonso at Silverstone. I haven't liked Schumacher since he ran Hill, Villeneuve, his brother, RB, and everyone else off various tracks over the years. Denis Hulme would've schooled that punk. Whip'em Juan Pablo!

Montoya will pull some shit on the first turn and Schumi will have none of it and both will receive damage.

There is a big possibility that MS and JPM could get together at the start. JPM should let MS go and catch him and pass him in a more appropiate place.
But then again, JPM doesn't know how to wait, and MS won't take any crap from him.
I can see a big crash, and Kimi losing an engine again, and Fernando scoring big points. I see Fernando not less than third place.
Go Renault!!!

I think you have that bassackwards. Scummie always pulls shit at the start. I've love to see him punted sometime when he does it.

He's going to Schwerve.

I wonder what kind of fuel load he's on in comparison to the McLarens.

Many think MS is light on fuel, although personally I think he's got more than most anticipate. I'm sure JPM is heavier though the Mclaren is simply phenomenal even when it's weighed down with fuel.

JPM is starting on the dirty side of the track so that might hamper his start a bit. Either way I think we're in for some good racing tomorrow. :buttrock

Interesting comments. When I watched JP's lap it did look nearly as clean as Schumi's. JP has several corners which induced understeer in his car. Alonso said that his car is not performing well at Hungary, and he does not expect to challenge for the win.
As far as passing goes, the turbulant air that an F1 car produces makes it very hard to draft and pass, but Hungary is not a passing track anyway.
It should be a very good race to watch.

Nice to see Kimi make up for last week's debacle. Sucks for JPM though yet another Mclaren failure.

Damn bridgestone when will the tire degredation issue be resolved?? Really fun race to watch, especially the fight between MS and Kimi during the first half.

You can certainly see that the Ferrari has good pace, but the damn tires just continue to give up at the half way point. If Bridgestone gets it figured out, it could be an interesting finish to the season.
Kimi was fast from the start, and never looked back. The Mercedes powerplant looked very strong in Kimi's car, too bad that Juan Pablo could not carry on. You can tell that Mercedes has compromised reliability for speed, and so far the payoff has not been good.
