I just finished about 2 hours worth of detailing. Washed, waxed, vacuumed, cleaned dash and in between the doors. Looks very good but it's Cosmos black and it's going to get dirty as soon as I pull it out of the driveway.

Sometimes I think about painting it Alpine white. Anybody else have a hard time keeping Cosmos clean :)

Thats what quick detailers are for! :)

Cover it when you're not using it. Quick detail it when its dusty with a high quality microfiber, folded into 4ths and using a clean side for every panel.

I wash my anthracite finish once every 6-8 weeks, wax it once every 3-4 weeks. I drive it 20-25,000 miles a year too.

You can keep it spotless but you need to be committed. Literally, not figuratively! :D

don't drive in the rain that helps a lot. keep the car in a garage too. Otherwise yes cosmos and any shade of black is a bitch to keep clean. It's worth it though for how good it looks just after being detailed. :D

I think what he means that in that time, you should probably be able to do a couple passes with a good polish as well.

Then don't get a California duster. Its like dry mopping your paint's finish. If you want a perfect finish, the duster will N O T work for you.
