BMW tells me it is "impossible" to upgrade to heated steering wheel from standard without buying a new vehicle. I could understand "difficult" or "expensive" but I don't believe "impossible". They tell me there is no wiring harness available to supply the new wheel with the feed and that it can't be done.

I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Wow...that's...odd. I know a guy that works at the dealership, and my uncle basically owns 1/4 of the new center, aving bought, well, let's just say many, new bimmers there. I'm sure that we could see if what you've been told is true. Infact, I'll be going there next week to pick up some parts, I'll ask if I remember.

I'd really appreciate it. I've tried the 2 dealers nearest me & have the same response.
