Hey Folks...
Some friends of mine are setting up a BMW Gathering... one that involves a little driving. They are looking to set it up on August 10th starting in Miami. Then from there, they plan on driving down to Key West. A nice friendly caravan of BMWs driving down South.
The arrangements are still sketchy, but if you are interested, post here and I will pass information along as soon as I get it.

aug10 is perfect!!!!!!!!!!I am leaving NJ aug 1st and driving to my condo in Rotonda (right by venice). Then driving to a friends house in southbeach around the 10th for a couple days. Keep me posted bro.

Aug. 10th at 9am
Meeting spot: Turnpike and 152nd Street in the Empty Bus Parking Lot
From there, the meet will drive down to Key West, eat lunch and then hang around for a bit.
Then after that... drive back.
That's all I know so far...
I would like to join but wife is going to be 2 weeks from delivery, have fun and watch out for speed traps along the way to Keys including on Turnpike south of Kendall.:nono

As of right now, 17 cars are going.
All German cars welcome...
Apparently since so many people want to stay down there... the drive will only consist of the drive down. People will be going back at different times. I think some are spending the night...
And there are plenty of parties going on in Key West.

Ya, me and some guys from www.dtmpower.net are talking about meeting up for a 1 day drive from Miami - Keys and back in 1 day, going there for lunch
