I’ve finally hit the magic 1000 Posts mark.
After contemplating my life since I became introduced to BF.c (thank you Ben and Anthony), I have evaluated my time spent on BF.c on a per post basis:

For each of my 1000 posts, I have spent:
2 minutes reading the thread.
10 seconds pondering Gandalf’s hair.
1 minute thinking of what to say.
30 Seconds waiting for my computer to give me the reply screen.
30 seconds typing my post.
15 seconds contemplating how absolutely stupid my post is.
5 seconds hitting “back” and rethinking what I want to post.
30 seconds typing a new post.
5 seconds waiting for my post to appear at the bottom of the thread.
5 seconds thinking about how I should have previewed and proofread the post.
10 seconds reviewing my post after it is posted to the thread.
15 seconds editing the post after realizing it contains a glaring typographical error (I have noticed that many of you skip this step).
15 seconds arguing with the administrator about my post being off topic.
10 seconds looking for a car for Ben.
10 seconds worrying that someone is going to be offended by my post and track me down and shoot me.
15 seconds hitting refresh because the server is too busy.
15 seconds contemplating whether to change my sig or avatar.
5 seconds changing my sig or avatar.
5 minutes reviewing cars on ebay someone has referenced.
10 minutes attending a meet.
5 minutes washing the car in preparation for attending a meet.
1 minute downloading and organizing media on my hard drive.
5 minutes downloading video.
3 minutes reviewing video and posting commentary on said video.
30 seconds reviewing driveaddict.com.
10 seconds chatting with Chase about bf.c.
10 seconds wishing I had some mods to post.
5 seconds arguing with my wife about me wasting time on bf.c.

This totals roughly 37 minutes per post, multiplied by 1000 posts equals about 617 hours. At my billing rate of $250/hour, that is $154,250 – enough to buy an e46 M3 for each of the licensed drivers in my family.
What have you guys done to me????

Its nice to have you around. May your next thousand be as good as the last thousand.

Funniest thread voted by Mr. & Mrs. Lange in a long time. Angel would like to dispute the above mentioned time on this one, she feels this may not be a true representation of the accurate time spent on this. At least in this household. :help

I am suprised you did not include emotional damage and trauma in your expense list, I thought this was a given with all people practicing law. :D

Great thread sir, and most of all, congratulations on your 1000.

p.s. I was just looking at your profile to see your average post per day time (5.81 per day), and noticed you share a very special day with both Angel and I. Oct. 15 must have been the day for all cool people to be born! :buttrock
