Its nowhere nearly as good as doing everything by hand. Its meant for the lazy consumer imho.

Basically, the wax would be a spray on wax...IE nowhere near the real deal.

As for the spray gun itself, all it does is soften the water so it doesnt leave spots. It doesnt really work any better than just using NXT wash, also designed to minimize water spots. Big waste of money.

NXT Wash? Never heard of it? Do you think it would help waterspotting better than Megs Gold Class?

Most definitely! I used to use Gold Class and Softgel, and the NXT wash is MUCH better. I washed the car and didnt dry it recently to see (I was detailing it anyway), and there was easily 1/5th the spots left on the car.

It works okay. I use it every once in a while if i dont have a lot of time or Im really tired. Or if my dad asks me wash his car. It doesn't work nearly as well as the commercials show. It's alright.

Don't be stingy with the spot free rinse. Really soak the car down. If you were rinsing with a hose, take twice as long when using the spot free rinse. You have to use it very liberally. Otherwise, you'll still end up with spots AND soap stains (doh).

It saves you a little effort but not time. I'll stick with my drying towel.

Try it first, see if you like it. But don't use the wax!!
