I think the factory 10 speaker in my car sounds awesome...I might add alightweight sub but weight=not my freind
The only thing Id like to get rid of is that amplifier hiss. Is there a replaceent updated amp that will more or less plug in?
Gamite 07-23-2005, 03:07 PM Damn u, i wanted to put the car pc in for such a long time now, I'm so jealous.
Here's what's in there now.
Alpine CDA-7894 Head Unit

Resonant Engineering Amp 1800 RMS @ 0.5 Ω
Dual 12" Kicker Solo-baric S12L7
4 Channel Zapco 360

2 8 inch Earthquake of San Fran subs in the factory holes powered by an earthquake 220 watt amp
1 10 inch bazooka sub powered by a 200watt bazooka amp

As for the speakers, its a cheap setup, but for the money it sounds great (I did it all myself for a grand total of $180)
As for the CD changer, again a cheap setup, but works great. I paid $120 for the changer on ebay, $50 for the Soundgate adapter on ebay, and $20 for the Alpine KCA-130b adapter on crutchfield).

Urine - How do you control the air flow with no controls? I'm interested in doing something like yours, and I know how because I've done it before. But with the BMW's setup I can tell it'll be tricky to keep the controls and use the whole space for the screen.

Anyone asking about my setup can just do a search, I did a few big write-ups about the massive circuit board modifying i had to do to retain HVAC controls and relocate stuff.
323: it's entirely touch screen.
