Good result today!!! Great job guys! I've been at the SJGP the last two days with one more day to go, I did two pit walk-throughs but missed the one with the touring car folks. Two other BMWs had to drop from the race but the 318ti(!) managed to make it though.

I'll see about posting some pics once I get the time to sort through the hundreds I have taken so far.

I still haven't caught up with sifting through all the pics I took at the GP (about 850 total!) but I couldn't resist adding this one I took today. They're disassembling the track today but you can drive much of the circuit as you would normally drive those roads, with a lot of the barriers, fences and stands still in place. Coming around the last corner and down the start/finish straight is pretty cool to drive even at legal speeds. (There are still a lot of cops down there watching the area!)

I saw them in the pits, and I watched the entire race. It was pretty cool. There were a lot of crashes on the hairpin. The golf's and honda's kept understeering into the tire walls :stickoutt

Lots of cars were having brake problems as well as pushing a bit too hard. It was right before the straightaway so I think some racers were trying to carry a little more speed than the tires/car could handle. The straight was one of the only passing zones (besides some of the braking areas) as the track was not quite wide enough to get around a car in some areas.

Glad I could be part of the team! It was an awesome event. Dale really had a great race. He didn't lose ground on the launch and was able to get his nose in for a pass to second place going into the hair pin on the first lap. If we had as much power as the RSX, I am sure Dale could have had a first place finish.

Thanks for the support from friends as well. It was nice to meet some new people and see how much support and respect Rob, Dan, and Dale have around the entire racing community. Good friends, good times. I'll be part of the MPACT team as long as you want me.

Yeah, I watched that first pass on the inside. It was nice! Unfortunately, the power of the RSX and the track itself didn't provide any opportunities for much more, but it was still a great event.
