It's official I have decided to part out the e34 525 the first thing to go will be the triflo cat back exhaust. Looking to get around $400USD for it obo. Let me know if anyone is interested.

K this is now the official thread of the parts car, if you need anything post it here or PM me directly, i check the board a couple times a day so i should be able to get back to you right away.

BTW the car has no engine in it, there are some misc engine pieces still in it as well as the 5spd tranny. I'll post some pics soon.

what other goodies does it have? (chip, wheels, headers). I also really need a fuel sender. I hate that my gauge always shows empty. That's a good price for the exhaust. Too bad I got the RD exhaust not too long ago, otherwise I would take tri-flo for $400

Hey buddy hows it going. Ya i finally picked up the car last week.
Okay yes the car has clears not sure what to ask for them, does $20 sound good?
Andryuha shot me a offer on the fuel sender i have no clue what thats worth. Also the car has a K&N drop in filter, dinan chip, the RD spring and bilstein shocks, slotted front rotors, drilled rear rotors etc.

bmw1600ti you have dibs for sure on the suspension u asked first. I was thinking $400 for the complete suspension?

Also Ahheck01 the int is in fact black and it is in my opinion a 8.5-9 out of 10 i'll shoot you a e-mail.

unfortunately i didn't get the wheels the guy wanted too much for them

Just FYI, if you need help as to how to remove something or have a question, PM as I just went through what your embarking on and have learned alot of things.

One thing you may want to do is keep certain things from that car in case it goes on yours and swap things out that are missing/broken on yours. It will save you a few hundred bucks in the long run..

Some thing I kept were:

1. All fuses
2. All relayes
3. LKM Modual
4. Air Bag Sensor Box
5. Traction Control Box
6. Coils
7. Out side Temperature sensor
9. DME Box (holds your ECU)
10 CCM Module
11. Door pins (in case I loose when if I ever remove the door)
12. All steering wheel levers (Turn Signal, OBC etc..)
13. Electric power mirror switch
14. All console switches (Headlight, foglight, dimmer etc..)

There is soo much more I saved and soo much more I need to remove

Anyways, even of my rant, have fun tearing her part... :D

Lol, no problem, also wanted to say, for the stuff that you are unsure of how much you want to sell them for, go to Ebay and do a search under the COMPLETED listings and you will get an idea of how much you should charge. I figure it is a fair way of guaging the worth of certain items.

Alright just got back from the car (its parked 20mins away :( ) Anyways i pulled all seats, the front bumper, and the headlights and corner lights then darkness hit. Guess what, my high beam is out and this thing had new piaa high beam bulbs :redspot

Anyways. I know have to go away this weekend (free offer to a cottage :alright ) so pulling will reasume on monday. BTW there is a offer on the table for the suspension. First $400 takes it

I can paint it untill I can find the proper color dark blue interior is not very common.. Also with the tools I will take what you have..

Hey are the foglights good? As long as they are and are the OEM ones, I'll take them with the brackets..

Also, everybody, I have the same color 525 with tan interior and the M20 engine. The only problems with it are the tranny (only goes in reverse) and some of the interior is not installed! I am not trying to put the other E34 for parts out of 'business' I would like to get rid of mine as a whole, not parts. I just dont have the time for that. The engine is really good btw. 175k on it, but runs very strong.

Anyhow, I wont advertise selling my parts cause I dont want to hijack the thread and the business going on here! BUt i do have a car if anybody wants it for a thousand.

This thread is over a year old... I think he does still have the exhaust, but he also recently made some mods to the car... I dont think it got parted out.

This is Old. No i've had the 535 for about 4-5 years now. The 525 was just a parts car i picked up that happenned to have a few mods. I sold a few items off of it but shipping to the states made all the big items useless.
