i'm up here for grad school, are there any shops within a decent radius(100miles) that are capable of good bmw work???

theres this place - manlious (sp??) motorsports outside of dewit, in manlious ny (go figure). its mabye 25 minutes from armory square. im not sure how to spell it

the owner is a guy named brian. they do mostly german things, audis, vws, porsches, etc so im sure they do bimmers as well (havnet been there myself, but a guy i wokr with knows the owner pretty well. from what he says, they will be building my motor when i move up there in 2 months). they also do the typical honda crap too. says they like to do the 1.8t motor in older vws, if that helps the scope of work they do

id give them a shout. maybe mention hassan crumby (guy i work with) reccommended them. dunno

I've also got a Cosmos 97 M3 in Syracuse.

Do NOT go to Eurotech in S. Syracuse, Shawn there is pretty crappy.

I do recommend Cann-tech auto on Taft Road in North Syracuse. They have a website. They are pretty expensive, but work on a ton of BMW's and Porches.
