lol, I am a Computer Science major in college. I work at Stop n Shop this summer. I am programming a game right now in my free time. And no, I don't want the butt sechs.

What happened to the car?

curbed it on a slippery road last week (edited, didn't happen last night).

bumper mounts (?)
some other cosmetic damage
right side airbag
two rims n tyres
rear suspension
right rear axle

:( The mechanic said the parts come friday and then he will start as soon as insurance talks to him.

Would aftermarket be out of the question? New suspension = New Drop? 2 rims and tires = Oh hell, 4 new "kicks"?

btw, sorry to hear this. You didn't get hurt or anything correct?

Nah, I am fine. Wasn't going fast at all really. The problem with going aftermarket is I don't have the money to do it right now. As for the rims, I like my stock ones! :D I am planning only smaller upgrades this summer, the more expensive ones will come later as they will be more involved as well. I am planning new pedals, lights, etc. this summer.

Here is what I am looking at if I can get access to some money I won last year...

front clears - 79.95
conforti shark injector - 369.99
h&r coilovers - 1349.95
alcantara wheel - 419.95
aluminium (;)) pedals - 150
clear tails - 369.99

The prices are all retail but come up just over $2700, I have won $3000 worth. Then I have $750 for the rest of the summer estimated from Stop n Shop and scraps and whatnot from mowin the lawn and ebay sales... So if anyone gets there hands on one of the above and wants to help... :D My front is the black trim...

man, that sucks,

It is all my fault, it has stemmed really from owning the car. It is my first car that I have owned and only the third rwd car I have driven. I have been driving a bit aggressively in the last month or so and it finally caught up. So now I have been driving slowly, maxing at like 5 over the limit and I am now realizing just how fast everyone else and how I used to drive. I was driving to work the other day, turned onto a road (was following a car) and within a few seconds he was gone ahead of me and the guy behind me was riding my bumper. I was like... woah, wtf... and just kept bumpin to my tunes. So I think to the delight of many you guys (and ladies) will see a much more chill and relaxed driver from me since I do not want to be crazy. That isn't me, and I just gotta qwell the want to go fast and save it for when I go back to Lime Rock.

Anyways, anyone watch the hulk show...the kid is 14 and has a supra that is all "tricked" out...wtf.

Actually, I liked the way they looked, minus the hoods. But none of them were over done. The large rear wing actually fit well, as they were all body colour. No large amounts of visible cF either.

:confused Once again Jeff. That car would rip your car apart, my car apart, all our cars apart. Don't hate on what can tear you a new a$$hole........Supras are amazing cars (way overdeveloped).

The kid Nick with the supra (that will hopefully come out with us on meets) just got his license. He knows Nick Hogan or whatever his name is through Supra Forums. Supposedly Hogan (not hulk his son) is very very knowledgeable about supras/working on them. His car has somewhere around 900HP if im not mistaken.

yea I heard about Hogan with the supras
i know what they can do
hell this weekend i came across a huge wrx meet in the reservation, those cars are quick and much quicker then mine
but all that said wrx's, evo's, and supra's aren't my style, i like luxury, quality, as well as power

Thanks guys, it is a game I am writing in C#, the object is to spin around points on the screen and smash the opponent off the screen, earning yourself a point. Pretty simple. :stickoutt

Anyways, I ran into a huge and complicated problem and now I am having to dig deep into Microsoft's work-force to help me solve it. It sucks to have to go to the source of DirectX to figure a problem out, but it is nice that finally the M$ evil empire and its employees are making themselves available to the public.

hmm updates.

my game, fixed the major problems. now finishing it up hardcore style. still need to program the AI though...

my car...
i ordered racing, aluminum/grippy with frost (as opposed to chrome) finish. the gas has the extension for heel-toe-ing. insurance is covering the repairs. i am paying the deductable out the pocket willingly. should have it back for next friday.

i am getting an m-tech bumper, could use help putting it on. we are willing to do it (me and a friend are swapping bumpers) but would like someone with skills there to aid with all the electronics and whatnot. I am also not sure what tools we are going to need. it is two '02 325i's.

friday meets...
we need to get these going again, i want to see 50 bimmers this next friday.
